We love his cool striped colourblocking tights

Yesterday we flew in for one day…
to a place where we really wanted to be
PLAYTIME PARIS!
To catch up with our designer-friends Noch Mini and Loud Apparel.
To talk to new great designers, from whom we’ve heard about already,
but never met.
To meet some nice agents, whom we will keep in touch with…
and some very very cool NEW BRANDS who’ve just launched
their AMAZING first collection. We’re very proud of you!
All the creativity was mindblowing…
You had to take your time and think what you would like to see…
All the colours (or monotones), 400 brands…

at Playtime
to show all of us the
cool stuff on the block.
Well they nailed it again!
We’ve met some nice journalists too.
Great and inspiring to talk to very experienced collegues.
Especially for the more visual versions like us.
And we have to say it again…

Two months ago we’ve posted already
about this really cool NEW kidsbrand from Antwerp/Belgium.
LION OF LEISURE…
Cool wildlife tees, dito totebags and cool softies.
Very humourous in style…
We were very lucky to receive a ‘we love it’-package’ of their designs,
so we could really experience wearing it.
The tees are very soft and stay that way after washing them,
which is amazing!
We have to admit that it’s still pretty exceptional,
to have your kids tees
in the same quality as before washing it.
More brands should pay attention to that…

Their mission is to create a children’s clothing brand
that is unique, that has it’s own humorous identity
and inspires the very people who inspire us – KIDS.

These two HERO’s,
we call them Karamba and Hercules,
are our two COOLIO’s of the day!
We feel like we have to give them a stage,
in their tiny pants… haha!
They look very cool and tough,
but at the same time they’re a kind of clumsy…

Graphic Jungle
GRAPHIC JUNGLE is an amazing nursery collection
by a very cool new French brand for the little ones…
called ANATOLOGY…
WE’RE IN LOVE!!!
This ‘real coolness’ was launched just 8 months ago, by Delphine Miquel.
Before she moved on to the core of her experience in ready to wear,
she studied arts & design at the Beaux Arts.
So we understand where her ‘eye for beauty’ is coming from.
After that, she also studied fashion in Paris (Atelier Chardon Savard)
On top of that she worked for 7 years as a creative assistant of
a ‘pret-a-porter-deluxe-fashion-designer’.
When she became a mum, 16 months ago,
and couldn’t find any cool nursery items she liked,
she decided to make it herself
and the coolest brand was born!
A BIG THANK YOU!
It is so incredibly contemporary with the beautiful fabrics
together with the stunning graphic prints.
We never saw this before.
A big big wannahave and nr.1 on the wishlist.
Besides ‘the coolest on the planet-sleep bags’,
(0-18 months)
there are the crib liners, the bibs
and the cushions to enjoy for a much longer time.
And because the designer’s son is now 16 months,
we assume (well… wish… haha) that she will design something new…
Great designs which are growing up with this cool little dude.
