GRAPHIC JUNGLE is an amazing nursery collection
by  a very cool new French brand for the little ones…
called ANATOLOGY…

WE’RE IN LOVE!!!

This ‘real coolness’ was launched just 8 months ago, by Delphine Miquel.
Before she moved on to the core of her experience in ready to wear,
she studied arts & design at the Beaux Arts.
So we understand where her ‘eye for beauty’ is coming from.

After that, she also studied fashion in Paris (Atelier Chardon Savard)
On top of that she worked for  7 years as a creative assistant of
a ‘pret-a-porter-deluxe-fashion-designer’.

When she became a mum, 16 months ago,
and couldn’t find any cool nursery  items she liked,
she decided to make it herself
and the coolest brand was born!

A BIG THANK YOU!

It is so incredibly contemporary with the beautiful fabrics
together with the stunning graphic prints.
We never saw this before.
A big big wannahave and nr.1 on the wishlist.

Besides ‘the coolest on the planet-sleep bags’,
(0-18 months)
there are the crib liners, the bibs
and the cushions to enjoy for a much longer time.
And because the designer’s son is now 16 months,
we assume (well… wish… haha) that she will design something new…
Great designs which are growing up with this cool little dude.

It’s the work of illustrator and graphic designer Anna Johnstone.
Painted on wood. We love the combination with black paint.
Makes it graphic and very strong!
Plus every wooden plate has got a different structure,
so a different feeling.

 We wish we had seen her solo exhibition live.

THE BIG BUBBLE…
What a great and AMAZING design from Dutch designer Alex de Witte!
It feels like a dream come true for kids, and the kid in us…
A permanent bubble in your home.

Every ‘bubble light’ is from blown glass
and every piece is shaped different.
Unique because of their shape and size.
Sizes are between 85 and 115 cm long.

We think it’s not for sale yet,
but contact the designer for more information.
And check also Workshop of Wonders.
They’ve showed his design for the first time.
It received the Design District best product prize
when it was first introduced
a week after they’d hung up his first pieces.

WE”RE IN LOVE!

Present & Correct , sounds like your high-school teacher taking notice of abscence…
But the thing is…,
It’s a cool online store from two graphic designers
who have a long-term obsession for stationary
which has culminated in a constantly evolving store.

The combination of ‘vintage treasures from the past’, ‘things they love’
from other designers around the world
and ‘their own designs’ makes this a very unique store!

They have a great eye for all of this, so you have to be fast
and have a look on this website every day to
get your stationary ‘pearl from the past’.
Otherwise it will be sold already.
Their own designs are very contemporary
and have beautiful combinations in colour and prints.

Monday will be the start of school again for our big boy,
so it’s time to get ourselfs some cool stuff to ‘shine’ in class.

Treasures, vintage, old skool and very new contemporary in one shop!
TRÈS COOL!

A big thank you to Playtime Paris
for creating and organizing such an inspiring event!

Located at a beautiful spot in Paris…,
so we could take a walk in the great green Parc Floral
to cool down from the Paris temperatures yesterday
… if…
we didn’t had to head back to Amsterdam…
Unfortunately we only had 5 hours of playtime… due
to our train delay in the morning…

But nevertheless…
We had a wonderful time… thanks to your very kind staff too…
we always love that!
plus we were allowed to enter the PRESS ROOM,
felt really lucky!

A VIP-moment,
we’ve met our favourite & cool designer friends,
LOUD APPAREL and NOCH MINI NYC again!
Wonderful to talk to you about your inspiring
SS14 collections (very impressed!) and our future plans.

And ofcourse we were happy to get to know
about cool new brands and their great designers…,
about whom we will write
very very soon…
let’s say tomorrow!
